System Requirements
Customer Dashboard requires the following minimum versions to install and run:
- WordPress 6.2 or later
- WooCommerce 8.0 or later
- PHP 8.0 or later
Customer Dashboard is fully compatible with WooCommerce’s High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS). Both traditional and HPOS-enabled stores work without configuration changes.
The plugin is tested up to WordPress 7.0. If a newer WordPress version is available when you read this, the plugin will likely still work but hasn’t been officially tested against it.
Install From WordPress.org
Customer Dashboard is preparing to launch on WordPress.org. Once published, you will be able to install it directly from Plugins → Add New in your WordPress admin by searching for “B2B Customer Dashboard for WooCommerce”.
In the meantime, install from a ZIP file using the steps below.
Install From a ZIP File
Download the plugin ZIP file from kascado.com and follow these steps.
- Open your WordPress admin and navigate to Plugins → Add New.
- Click Upload Plugin at the top of the page.
- Click Choose File and select the Customer Dashboard ZIP file.
- Click Install Now.
- After installation completes, click Activate Plugin.
Verify the Plugin Is Running
After activation, verify the plugin is working correctly.
Check 1: The Kascado menu appears
In your WordPress admin sidebar, look for a top-level Kascado menu. It typically appears below the WooCommerce menu. Inside the Kascado menu, you should see a Customer Dashboard submenu.
Check 2: The dashboard loads
Click Kascado → Customer Dashboard to open the dashboard page. The page should load without errors. If your store has B2B customers, you’ll see them classified into Active, At Risk, and Dormant. If your store has no B2B customers yet, you’ll see an empty state with a link to the settings page where you can configure detection.
Check 3: Permissions work correctly
Only users with the manage_woocommerce capability can access the dashboard. This includes administrators and shop managers. Verify your user role has access. Users without this capability will not see the menu item.
Next Steps
Once installation is verified, continue with Configuration to configure B2B customer detection and understand what to do if the dashboard appears empty.
