About Kascado

Ecommerce platforms are built to handle the transaction. They take an order, process a payment, and move on. That is the part the platform has to get right, and most of them do.

What they do not cover is everything around the transaction. The work that starts once a store is large enough that no single person can hold it all in their head. Knowing which accounts are drifting. Knowing who owes money and for how long. Producing a document a customer’s accounts department will accept. None of that is exotic, and none of it is a transaction, so it tends to sit outside what the platform ships.

The work does not disappear. It moves into spreadsheets, into somebody’s inbox, into a monthly afternoon that nobody enjoys. Or it is handed to a subscription service that charges per user and pulls the store’s own data onto someone else’s infrastructure.

Kascado builds for that layer. Each plugin starts from a specific job a store operator is doing by hand, and each is built to the same standard regardless of which product line it belongs to.

Kascado is operated by Invynt LLC, a company registered in the United States. It is a small, distributed team with backgrounds in ecommerce operations, WordPress and content platform engineering, and production software at scale.

We are deliberately small, and that shapes the work. It means we ship fewer products than a larger company would, and it means the person who answers a support request is usually the person who wrote the code in question. Bug reports are investigated whether or not you have paid us anything.

We are not funded by anyone, so there is no pressure to convert a free plugin into a subscription or to add features nobody asked for. The paid products fund the free ones. That is the whole model.
